Since 2023 Benedict Herbst has been the President & CEO for United Soft Plastics, Inc., a fast growing international TPE compounder, with offices around the globe. He previously held the position of Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer and has additionally spent time in the management consulting industry providing strategic financial advisory on enterprise scale projects.Â
Born just outside of Munich, Germany in the city of Rosenheim, Benedict came to the USA in 1999 and has remained in Atlanta ever since. As a dual citizen of both the USA and Germany, the GAC-F mission of promoting German language & culture in the Southeast is close to his heart. He formally began his involvement as the Treasurer of the GAC-F in 2018 and most recently became the Chairman.
Benedict holds two degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology; a B.S. in Industrial Engineering as well as a M.S. in Quantitative & Computational Finance.
