The Christkindl Market follows an old tradition from Germany and other parts of Central Europe. A Christmas market, also known as Christkindl Market (literally meaning “Christ Child Market”), is a street market celebrating Christmas during the four weeks of Advent. The history of these markets goes back to the late Middle Ages in the German-speaking part of Europe and in parts of the former Holy Roman Empire that included many regions including what today are Germany, France, Switzerland, and Austria.

We are grateful

for the MANY volunteers and supporters who make the Christkindl Market possible!
