Join us on October 27th for the first Octoberfest Run! Come foster German-American relations & experience German culture while competing in a 5K road race/walk &/or participating in a 1K Dirndl & Lederhosen Fun Run. 5K run/walk through Piedmont Park begins at 3pm. The fun run will begin after the race is finished, around 4pm. After both events Park Tavern will be the site of a cultural celebration for runners & non-runners alike. Post-run outfit contests will be at the Park Tavern with awards. There will be beer, bratwurst, & music! Proceeds benefit the German-American Cultural Foundation for educational programs. Read more…
