Gerhard Schneiders

Gerhard Friedrich Schneiders is a German tax advisor, auditor and US-CPA  and equity partner of Rödl & Partner USA. He holds a degree in business administration (Saarland University) and previously studied in Heidelberg and Mannheim. He has well over 30 years of experience in auditing, accounting and taxation. He started his career at Arthur Andersen in Düsseldorf in auditing and later spent several years in transaction consulting before joining Ernst & Young (E&Y) in 2002 through a merger. Since 2004, he has worked as a partner and head of the German Desk at E&Y in Boston, MA, and joined Rödl & Partner USA in 2012. He was instrumental in setting up the office in New York before moving to the US headquarters of Rödl & Partner USA in Atlanta, GA in the summer of 2018, where he is essentially driving business development.

His areas of expertise are the initiation and support of inbound investments, including start-up investments, the implementation or quality control of auditing services according to US GAAP, IFRS or HGB, tax consulting as well as state and local taxes, including location search for tax structuring for companies of all sizes and industries. He is a regular in Germany and speaks at various events on the subject of US investment. As a dual citizen of Germany and the US, the German culture and traditions are close to his hard and he also wants to support a philanthropic German business community that benefits from the current economy, and therefore, gives back to the people.

 

Mr. Schneiders was a board member of GACC New York for over 12 years and is now active in several other European chambers of commerce in addition to the German Chamber of Commerce USA South in Atlanta and, since April 2025, has also been a board member and treasurer of the GACF - German-American Cultural Foundation in Atlanta.

Gerhard Schneiders is married and enjoys his garden, his dogs, playing golf and being together with friends in his free time.
